Selecting a line up
Your lineup must be in the 4-4-2 formation, that is 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 4 midfielders and 2 strikers. Players must play in or near their respective position (for example, you can't have Manuel Almunia up front or Wayne Rooney in goal.) A maximum of 3 players may be from the same club, up to 8 may be from the 'Big Four' (Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea) and 1 player must be from a promoted club.
Substitutions
If a player plays part of a game before being subbed off, or comes on as a substitute, he still gains the same amount of points as if he had played the whole match. However, if after a defender has been substituted, a goal is conceeded, he will not get the clean sheet bonus.
Transfers
If a player is transferred, he will still stay in your team unless squad restrictions prevent this. For example, if you already have 3 Manchester United players, and then another member of your team transfers to Manchester United, you must remove that player from your team. You will be notified of the need to alter your team immediately.
Injuries
If a player gets injured and cannot play, he will not be able to get any points. It is therefore recommended you change your players around if he is injured.
Squad alterations
You may alter your lineup at any time during the season, and you will retain the points gained from the swapped player. Ensure you keep to the squad restrictions if you make an alteration.
Prizes
At the end of the season, points will be compared and a winner will be chosen. There may be a small virtual (i.e. not real world) prize for this individual.
Disputes
The administrator's decision is final, and disputing decisions may lead to you being barred from using the fantasy league.
